The Aztec Theatre strives to make our venue and live experiences inclusive and accessible to everyone. For more questions or information not mentioned below, please contact us before your visit.
You can reach us at theAztecTheatre@livenation.com or at 210-812-4355.
ACCESSIBILITY SEATING
For all general admission shows, we have a designated area for patrons with accessible needs and up to three companions. Please look for accessible tickets on the floor map.
For reserved seated shows, guests with accessibility needs should purchase tickets with the accessible designation located on the theatre floor for themselves and up to three companions.
While we do have an elevator, the seats in the Mezzanine and Balcony are only reachable by stairs. Our bathrooms and first floor are all accessible, so please make us aware of your needs when purchasing tickets and upon your arrival to the venue.
On the date of the show, please make our Guest Services staff aware of your needs and we will assist you in any way we can!
ARRIVAL AND ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCES
Our venue entrance is located at 104 S St Mary's St. There is a ramp located on the corner of Crockett St and St Mary's. If you are unable to pass through our metal detectors, please advise a staff member for assistance. If you are unable to stand for long periods of time while waiting in line to enter, please come to the front of the line and advise our staff members that you need accessibility assistance.
RESTROOMS
Our downstairs men's and women's rooms both have accessible bathrooms that are marked by accessible signs. Upstairs, we have an accessible/family bathroom on the back wall of the upstairs lobby next to the men's room. Due to the historic nature of the Aztec, the upstairs men's and women's rooms are only accessible by stairs. We also have accessible restrooms in the Warrior Room lounge.
TICKETING
For standing shows, we offer accessible area tickets on the GA floor. Please look for the tickets marked ADA. If you did purchase a seat in our accessibility section but require ADA seating, please ask a guest services representative for assistance with relocating to the ADA area. Please be aware that our accessible seating area can reach capacity early for relocation.
Our accessible section on the floor is located on the right of the theatre floor, on the third tier next to our front of house area. There is a ramp on the right hand side of the theatre floor. Due to the historic nature of the Aztec, the mezzanine and balcony are only accessible by stairs. For this reason, when purchasing tickets for seated events, please purchase tickets on the theatre floor.
MEDICATION NEEDS
If you need to enter with prescribed medication to be taken during the event, we require that all medication be in its original container with a name that is verifiable with a photo ID. If you do not have a container with a name on it, we may request documentation that allows us to confirm the need for this medication as you enter the venue. Please only bring what is required for the duration of the event. We cannot store any type of medication. Over-the-counter medication must be in its original packaging.
SERVICE ANIMALS
At The Aztec Theatre, we have specific guidelines to ensure all guests and their service animals are supported throughout their visit. If a service animal is attending the show with you, please purchase an ADA seat to ensure that you and your service animal have appropriate space.
Service animals are defined by the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) as dogs or miniature horses that are trained to do work to perform tasks related to people with disabilities. The work or task the service animal is trained to do must directly relate to the person's disability. Service animals must be housebroken. Service animals are required to behave and not repeatedly bark, growl, jump up on or lunge at other guests or employees. Corrective action must be taken if the service animal is not behaving appropriately.
Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Comfort animals, emotional support animals, and therapy dogs are not listed as service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA. This also applies to the other species of animals wild or domestic, trained, or untrained. The ADA requires the service animal to be under the control of the handler. This may include using a harness, leash, or other tether. Our venue employees are not required to provide for, the care, or supervision of a service animal, including cleaning up after it. Service Animals must remain on the floor and are not allowed on dining chairs or tables in our food and beverage locations. Live Nation and our operating partners have the right to deny access to a dog that disrupts our operations.
Please contact a member of the guest services team if your service animal needs access to a relief area. You will need to exit the venue and re-enter with the assistance of a member of the guest service team.
